Descendants of the Schrapel family have been caretakers of vineyards in the Barossa Valley for more than 150 years. Today, those very vineyards continue to be nurtured to produce what have become some of the most iconic wines in the Valley.

The View

One of the major drawcards of Bethany Wines is the view from the historic cellar door, overlooking spectacular views of the Barossa Valley floor and beyond.

Upon your visit to our winery, take a moment to absorb what are some of the finest views of sweeping vineyards of the Barossa Ranges.

Here’s what our guests have had to say:

“I thought the setting of the winery was magnificent and the view of the valley must be the best of any winery” – Gavin E, May 2013

“Visited Bethany Wines – what a beautiful place. Glorious hosts and a killer Shiraz!” – Christie Goss, September 2013

“Great views of vineyards, and outstanding Riesling and Shiraz. Great staff. A definite winery to visit in the Barossa. White port – seeing is believing” – Dizzy G, October 2013

“The cellar door is a lovely old building with loads of character and once inside we experienced friendly and knowledgeable staff offering tastings of some excellent wines. This cellar door is a must see for anyone visiting the Barossa Valley” – Phil B, May 2013

“A great winery with excellent cellar door staff and even better wines and fortifieds. Loved the white port. Awesome views from the top of the hill – a lovely place to dawdle” – Mary, October 2012
