"Our aim in life is to live well, provide for our children, care for the land and hand our winery and vineyards on to the next generation in a better position from when we started” - Robert Schrapel.

Semillon will take you on a lengthy flavour journey

Semillon in all its mature glory excites its aficionados. Often when youthful, zinging with natural acidity, it’s not at its best, but after a year or two in the bottle, it develops much more interest.

This is where the Bethany 2015 Semillon ($24) is spot on, its aromas grassy and pear-like with a palate that after three years is now gathering a fruit sweetness in the nectarine spectrum yet still hanging tight with a spicy acidity. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/thesourcesa/news-story/3a655573192e594e941f236985e145eb
